The Archaeology Data Service (ADS) hosts AHDS Archaeology, and resides at the University of York. We support research, learning and teaching with high quality and dependable digital resources. We do this by preserving digital data in the long term, and by promoting and disseminating a broad range of data in archaeology. We promote good practice in the use of digital data in archaeology, provide technical advice to the research community, and support the deployment of digital technologies. AHDS Archaeology is jointly funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee and the Arts and Humanities Research Board.
