More new faces

There were further staff change to the ADS office in September this year when Maureen Poulton, the ADS's Administrator left to become a student. Maureen, who was one of the founding members of the organisation, has left the ADS to study for a degree in contemporary history at the College of York St. John. Before leaving, ADS staff, the ADS Advisory Committee and AHDS Executive presented Maureen with a survival pack that will help her in the transition to student life. Among her earliest assignments was an exercise to find and assess the content of an historical web site.

Maureen's successor as administrator is Donna Page. Donna took up post in September and now works partly for ADS and partly for the e-journal Internet Archaeology. Though new to York, Donna is no stranger to university administration. She worked for several years as an administrator for the Virtual Society, an ESRC-funded project based at Brunel University.
