About the Virtual Walkabout

The Virtual Walkabout was written by Dr Michael Reynier at the University of Leicester, based on an original idea by Professor Clive Ruggles. It is hosted by the Archaeology Data Service who undertook technical development of the project and archive the images. The project was managed through a collaboration between the LTSN Subject Centre for History, Classics and Archaeology and the Educational Development & Support Centre at the University of Leicester. The project team would like to thank all those involved in creating and supporting the Virtual Walkabout.
