A database of Mesolithic Sites based on Wymer JJ and CJ Bonsall, 1977.

This database consists of data for all the Mesolithic sites in the Wymer and Bonsall (1977) Gazetteer of Mesolithic sites in England and Wales, which has been issued as a Council for British Archaeology Research Report, along with a gazetteer of Upper Palaeolithic sites in England and Wales. The database notes also include a list of errors noted while checking the Wymer and Bonsall site data. Some of these existed in the original paper document and some in the digitised PDF versions of the report. Corrections were applied if it was clear that a mistake had been made and it was relatively obvious what the correction needed to be. These corrections are listed in a table at the end of the database notes.
